Participate in taking apart a hive; identify queen, drones and workers. Learn the basics of keeping your own hive/s. Discussion around native bee species, pollination and food security.

Learn to build your own solar dryer, so you can make healthy treats for the whole family and enjoy seasonal produce for many months after you have picked it or bought it.

Bananas, tomatoes, zucchini, pineapple, apples, pears, mangoes, dragonfruit… your imagination is the limit to what you can dry.

Please bring along an old window and scraps of wood or sheets of chipboard. Materials provided at extra $20.
